The Coaches

 

Head Coach: Matt Dennis

Coach Dennis is in his 8th season as the head coach of the Owls. He previously served as Seymour Soccer Association's Director of Coaching and has club-level coaching experience in age groups U9 through U18.  His accreditations include a National Diploma, High School Diploma, and Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.  Coach Dennis played goalkeeper for the Owls from 1996-99, which included two trips to Semi-State.

 

Asst. Coach: Chris Proffet

Coach Proffet is in his 4th full season with the Owls and will help develop the goalkeepers.  He played for Seymour from 2005-08 and was a member of the Owls' 2006 sectional championship team. During his playing career, Chris was a three-year varsity letter winner.

 

Asst. Coach: Talmadge Reasoner

Coach Reasoner is in his 4th year on the SHS coaching staff. He was involved with youth travel teams for eight years prior to joining the Owls.  He holds a USSF E license and brings a unique knowledge of weight training and youth development.
